Pottery

Today I have posted some of my pottery pieces  that I made in my art camp that I went to. Here are some of my pottery pieces that I have made! I love making pottery because I like to feel the clay and make weird cool shapes.

During the class we went outside to find ideas of what to make and some people found flowers.  Then we went back inside and rolled out some clay. I pressed the flowers I picked on to the clay with a rolling pin then after I took off the flowers. I used a hexagon shape cutter to make the piece and a oval shape for the other one. I also used a pencil to make a hole in the clay so that the the pieces can be hanged.

For the last piece in the photos billow, I cut the shape first with a nice and my teacher bisque fired.  After it was fired, I pressed a fern leaf against the clay as a stencil then I painted over the leaf for design. It was complicated hard but at the end it became pretty for all of my pieces. My mom likes these pieces she used them to decorate the house. I like to see my house decorated around with my art pieces.
